Teamed up with our partners, we gift a saree weaved by the women weavers to themselves, as they strive hard for their meal and forget how elegant they look in their own weaved saree.
The joy of looking elegant in their own hand weaved sarees is hard to explain! They were never asked to wear one after they weaved but today they were honoured with there own legacy.
It takes a lot of effort and patience of a lifetime to weave a saree.
We strive hard, run through our busy days, waiting for the pay and carry our efforts on
shoulders with pride. In the same way, the women weavers have struggled through the non-ac rooms with the darkness & with the no hope but just the habit of weaving.
We at Kavidhara are running a campaign infavour for the women weavers, to glorify those weaving hands and allure the craftmanship.
The campaign is gifting a saree weaved by the women weavers to themselves, as they strive hard for their meal and forget how elegant they look in their own weaved saree.
It's always told in the Indian mythology that, saree brings any women the elegance and charm that they keep hidden behind the weaving paddles and the kitchen smokes.
With Kavidhara, we want to be the poets of elegance in the beholder's eye.
While we are styling the sarees in different ways called the ethnic fusion, why not gift a saree to the woman weaver and add a little more elegance to the saree weaved in pride.
